In response to a need to fill open jobs in Greenville and Bond County, the City of Greenville developed a web page in 2021 to list employment opportunities for local businesses. Access the page through the City’s website. A Facebook group created in 2019 also keeps people informed of job openings in Bond County.

Bond County Food Pantry is also operated here.

A Demand and Response Public Transportation System scheduling curb-to-curb service trips 24 hours or more in advance. Same day trip requests are honored if at all possible. City limits, county limits, out of county, too. BCT accepts Medicaid. Bond County Transit proudly provides vehicles accessible to persons with disabilities (48 hours notice requested).

Governor Bond Lake

Greenville’s water supply also offers fishing and water recreation for area visitors and families. Boating, fishing, and skiing can be enjoyed once the proper permits are obtained from the City of Greenville Municipal Building. Camping is also available at the marina.
