Playground equipment and public restrooms make this a very busy park during the summer. Ball teams for boys and girls play at the ball fields. The Kingsbury Park District facilitates K-6th Grade sports. Pavilion can be reserved.

The community pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community members can purchase a season pass or pay a small fee for admission. The pool is open for public swimming most days from 1-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Closed for private parties, swim tournaments and other special events. Pavilion can be reserved.

This large lake northeast of Greenville provides Greenville's water supply and offers fishing and water recreation for area visitors and families. Boating, fishing and skiing can be enjoyed once the proper permits are obtained from the City of Greenville Municipal Building. Governor Bond Lake offers two boat ramps and a marina where boat slip rental and gasoline is available. Camping is also available at the marina.
The nature preserve, accessible from 2 points along Iron Gate Trail, is one of the few points of public access to Governor Bond Lake, and offers a hiking trail through the preserve and around the lake. Miles of hiking and horseback riding are available for those looking for native woods and prairies. Pavilion can be reserved.
Patriot's Park is the community's largest park featuring playground equipment, disc golf course, a stocked lake, KPD building, pavilions and picnic tables. For more information visit the Kingsbury Park District website.

A Demand and Response Public Transportation System for Bond County Illinois Residents. There are three bus stops in Greenville: IGA, Courthouse (West side), and Greenville Regional Hospital. BCT buses stop at these locations approximately every 30 minutes during normal operating hours.
Local on-demand curb-to-curb service trips should be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Same day trip requests are honored if at all possible. Bond County Transit proudly provides vehicles accessible to persons with disabilities.
